My mission is to create sailing environments where ordinary people are given the opportunity to safely take on responsibility, move the borders of their strengths and weaknesses and grow into a team that looks out for each other as well as the boat.
Sharing knowledge and expertise is the basis of this.
Who am I?
My name is Yannic and its my goal to provide impactful and lasting experiences at sea.
Low hierarchies, inclusion & communication are things I deeply care about. Empowering individuals to step outside of their comfort zone and grow together into a team is my driving factor.
The challenges of nature and working together on a boat, as I believe, are one of the few ideal situations where I can fulfil my mission. I posses the experience, training and open mind to create this safe environment and share what I have learned while also learning from those around me.
What am I offering?
Skippering & Leadership
Skippering you boat, training the crew, building a team that collaboratively finds solutions and takes pride in their efforts.
Optimisation & Maintenance
Checking and preparation for delivery or trans ocean cruising, just persistent problem-solving or feature extension.
Surveying and purchase assistance
Surveying boat and rig, suggesting changes and identifying strengths and weaknesses of boats
Who are my clients?
I have worked with male, female and queer clients between 14 and 82 years of age in various occasions. My feedback has been majorly positive and will be available on this website soon.
The seas join those that cannot be joined and unites the different beliefs that struggle to believe.
